NEWS
News Flash! Dan Franklin, International Horse Whisperer is visiting Stepney for the whole of August. He will be helping everyone to improve the way that they communicate with horses, resulting in happier horses and humans! If you are interested in finding out more come along to our Demo on August 6th or book a session. Group sessions last 3 three hours and cost £20 per person. It is also possible for people to bring their own horses along. Please ring 0191 261 5544 and speak to Sara for details.
Summer holidays
New for 2005! Summer schools. Special courses covering all aspects of riding and horse care. Participants will also have the opportunity to work with Dan Franklin, a real-life Horse Whisperer all the way from Canada! Courses are running through out August and cost £50 per day or £140 for a three day block booking.
Own your own pony days. These special days give you a taster of what it is like to own your very own horse or pony! Participants may pick which horse they would like to ‘own’ and will be responsible for riding and caring for that pony. Rosettes are awarded on the day for those who have tried the hardest. Own your own pony courses are available on July27th (novice) and July 29th (intermediate). Course cost £25 per person.
Young helper days. These are special days for children aged between 8 and 11. Over 12’s who are new The Stables are also welcome. Training is given covering all aspects of horse care and a range of fun and educational activities are also provided. Young people will be closely supervised at a ratio of 1 adult to 5 young people. Young helper days cost £20 per ½ day or £30 per full day.
Blackhall Mill Summer Camp. A chance to get out and about in the beautiful countryside in County Durham. Lessons, hacks, show jumping and cross county training is available. Summer Camp runs from Monday 22nd August to Sunday 28th August.
Volunteer section – Young helpers. New prices for young helpers. Standard members pay £10 per ½ day, £15 full day. Non-members pay £20 per ½ day, £30 per full day.
