Young People and Supported Volunteers

The Stables also provides volunteering opportunities for young people, adults with learning difficulties and those wishing to develop skills and confidence to support a return to education, employment or training.

Working closely with our volunteer co-ordinator you will receive a high level of support and supervision, regular one–to–one meetings and training – not just around the work of the stables but also to support your personal development.

Volunteers come to the stables from a variety of backgrounds and with many different skills & abilities.

All our volunteers are vital to the stables ability to deliver its service – without their continued support we would find it almost impossible to operate the way that we do.
