Carol Swinburne has become equine manager at Stepney Bank Stables. This means she chooses horses to buy for Stepney and she looks after the horses already there. |

There have been quite a few new arrivals at Stepney, but unfortunately there have also been some sad farewells. The newest horse, Rotary Lad, is a 16.2hh bay and the biggest horse at Stepney right now. There is also Sox and Shane who are really cute! Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Beauty, Bianca and Peggy. Peggy has retired to go and live in a field with lots of friends at Carol Swinburne’s yard. |
A PROFILE OF SUNNY
Sunny is a very old pony with a bit of a wicked streak! He is a 13hh 17 years old chestnut gelding with a flaxen mane and tail. Sunny loves jumping and although he is old he does like to have a good gallop around the stadium and he can go very, very fast! Despite this, he is brilliant with novices and beginners and has become a firm favourite because of his good looks and kind nature.

Rotary Lad
Rotary Lad is a new horse at Stepney Bank Stables and is known for his hugeness. He is friendly and will probably settle in nicely. Rotary Lad has what you would call a thumb print and apparently means a horse is brave and is lucky. This unusual thumb print can be found on Rotary Lad’s neck. Well Rotary Lad looks brave. To me Rotary Lad is a gentle giant.
